Reason For Learning

Understanding the correct training methods and principles to implement when developing a training program will ensure athletes gain the most significant improvement relevant to their sport. This is important for occupations such as sports coaching, personal trainer or sports scientist as well as forming part of unit 4 area of study 1.

Learning Intention

1. To be able to identify and explain each of the training principles and then apply them in a training program 2.
