Reason For Learning

Students will develop an understanding of the motives behind great feats of human exploration in Australia so as to gain more of a perspective of why many people have been called to such feats.

Learning Intention

Students will research and answer questions in regards to a great feat of exploration in Australia's history to understand the circumstances of the expedition as well as what motivates such individuals to risk their lives in exploring new frontiers. This will be done in preparation for a class presentation next lesson.
