Part 1 - Warm Up
'Clean Up The Yard'
2 x teams.
Teams must stay in their designated playing half.   Tennis/Lacrosse balls will be scattered amongst the area.  The idea is for teams to 'flick' the balls into the oppositions area.  Balls cannot be scooped and thrown.   At the end of time, the team with the most balls in their field loses.

Part 2 - Skill Progression/Development
'Give and Go'
Aim is to create and use space in attack by accurately passing, recieving and controlling the ball.
- Mark out a start position on playing space, on opposite end lay out a ‘goal’ (or a hoop or a line)
- Attacking player starts at cone with the ball, who then passes to feeder, (who is standing in the middle of the field).  The feeder must then quickly pass the ball back to the receiver.
-  Attacking player is to get free to receive the ball A.S.A.P from feeder and make a run to goal.  This is known as a ‘give and go’
- Defender obviously tries to stop the pass or attack
Rules:
- The feeder is stationary and cannot continue in the game unless it is to receive the ball from the defender (if they gain possession)
- No body contact or stick checking

'Golden Child'
- Set up as a small group, perhaps 5 v 5.  Can later be modified to a whole class activity.
- Nominate a ‘golden child’ for each team, (give them a sash to highlight these players)
- Play normal keepings off.
- Every successful pass to a teammate = 1 point.  If a successful pass is made to the teams ‘golden child’ = 5 points
- Play continues regardless of dropped or ground ball, 1st team to 15 points wins
- No body contact or stick checking

Part 3 - Skill Application
'2 Goal Palooza'
- Set up normal game and have a goal in each corner of the field.  Start with a ‘face-off
- To score, players can shoot to either goal on their attacking end of the field.  Having two options for scoring at either end encourages students to use more of the field/space
- No body contact or stick checking
Modifications:
- Add a certain number of passes before scoring
- A 'Golden Child' must have possession of the ball before scoring
- Introduce 2 balls to the game
