Debrief:

1. Which stroke was the most difficult to perform.

2. Which stroke was the most commonly used.

Part 1 - Warm Up

Introduce rules of the game.  Rally between partner to promote good hand eye coordination and skills.  


Part 2 - Skill Development

'Right to Left' -

Students need to choose appropriate shots when rallying to try and get the ball to bounce in the left square on the opponents side, then the right square for the next shot played and then back to the left etc.  

'2 on 1' Drill (1)

Students play a 2 v 1 mini game.  The individual player must try to rally the ball alternting between the otwo other players on the opposite side  

'2 on 1' Drill (2)

In groups of 5 play to the best of 11 Points and then rotate.  Players not in the game, draw up a table identifying the different strokes and focus on a single player, tallying up the different strokes used during the match.

Part 3 - Mini Games

Students alternate between trying to rally/play a shot that is either a forehand or backward shot.  Can play amongst smaller groups or against people in the whole class.
