Use the following videos to help with your shooting technique.   Look for things such as:
- head position
- hand position
- elbow position
- position of knees and feet
- preparation of shot (where is the ball?)
- follow through from shot (where is the hand?)

Come up with your own analogies to help with remembering what is important for the skills.

Part 1 - Warm Up
'Backboard Rebound'
Teams.  Single file near free throw line.  Students utilising backboard try to keep the basketball in the air for as long as possible.  First student in line throws it up against backboard for next student in line to attempt the same.  Students try to set a record number of rebounds within time limit.
Modification:
- Students are not allowed to have their feet on the ground when in possession of the ball.

'Bump'

Modification:  
- Students can 'bump' other Basketballs away using their own
- Free Throws only
- Change the distance of the shot to 3 Point.

'Rapid Fire 3 Ball'
In pairs, one shooter, one rebounder.  Offensive players will be spread out around the 3 point perimeter with a ball.  Rebounders, will be waiting under the basket.  Perimeter players will shoot and move to a different spot on the floor. The rebounders will retrieve the ball and pass it to the same player every time.  In order to receive a return pass, the perimeter players must call for the ball and be ready to shoot.  Player that makes the most three pointers is the winner.  

Modification:
- Shorten distance from basket
- Add time limit to shot. (ie. cannot have the ball for longer than 3 seconds)
