- Students should know the basic rules of Soccer
- Students should know the fielding positions for the game
- Students should have a basic understanding of some tactics and strategies when playing competitively

Organise either a TC House/Class/Year Level or Staff vs. Student Soccer competition.

Research the following:  

  1. How many teams/countires competed in the 2010 Soccer World Cup?
  2. How many teams are competing in the 2014 Word Cup?  Any differences?    
  3. What do teams need to do in order to qualify for the event?
  4. How many people watched the World Cup on their tv/online?  
  5. Who makes up each team?   Players?  Coaches?   What about the people behind the scenes?

(**Student's will organise and lead all activities, drills and referee and score all matches**)

Part 1 - Warm Up
Teams will be selected, and each team captain or coach is repsonsible for organising their own individual team warm ups

Part 2 - 'Soccer Round Robin'
Teams battle it our for the Championship!  Players who have a bye are in charge of refereeing/scoring/updating the draw.  
 
Part 3 - Medal Presentations/Award Ceremony
- Can create a few awards, Deadshot (Most Goals), MVP (Most Valuable Player), Mr/Mrs Defence (Best Defender) etc.  These are voted by whole class.  
- Winning team collects a prize
