Log onto website link below and enter username and password.
Click 'Start Blank Risk Assessment'.
Fill in all fields -
Chemical user codes: Teacher = 1, Lab Tech = 2
Enter all equipment required along with quantities.
Click 'Generate risk assessment'
On the next page, read through the potential risks and rate your risk overall. Select safety precautions as necessary.
Make sure to email a copy to yourself for future reference.

Over the next few lessons, you are required to design, conduct and report on an experiment that you conducted. The experiment will be planned in groups, and your own individual practical report completed.
Timeline:
Lesson 1 - Brainstorming/begin research proposal
Lesson 2 - Complete research proposal and risk assessment
Lesson 3 - Conduct experiment
Lesson 4 & 5 - Report write up or presentation.
