Complete the following activities to learn about the cardiovascular system.

2. Students to watch this video on systolic and diastolic pressure and then attempt to get their heart rate and blood pressure (if equipment is available) while at rest.

3. Students to research the chambers of the heart, and the journey blood takes once entering the right atrium.The following terms should be used: right atrium, right ventricle, left atrium, left ventricle, tricuspid valve, bicuspid valve, aorta, pulmonary artery, deoxygenated blood, oxygenated blood, pulmonary vein.

 

4. Students to complete a quiz to check for understanding on the cardiovascular system.
