Groups of students given a sheet of butchers paper and some plasticine. One student volunteers to lie down on the sheet and the group traces around their upper body. The group then uses the plasticine to make a digestive system to fit inside the body outline.

Each group then labels (name and function) the plasticine organs they have created by writing on the butcher's paper.

Groups then rotate and observe and add detail to other groups work.

Students to take a picture of their work as a record of their learning.
