Part A:

Discuss with students how to apply linear equations with real life scenarios. Put some examples on the board to help them get started.

If students need a little bit more prompting, they can watch a few videos on Khan Academy which demonstrate how to do this in a very step by step, organised manner.

Part B:

Students will be handed a mini project, which they will be assessed on. They will be answering four different scenarios for linear equations to be applied to. They will be given this to do in class time over two periods to be completed and handed in. If they feel they don't have enough time in class they can take it home to do in between.

Each day overdue, students will have marks deducted unless they have a valid excuse.
