Discuss what a gradient is.

Tell students there are two ways in finding the gradient and today they were going to learn one of them.

Discuss rise over run with students and how they can be calculated by using two given points, on a striaght line, on the Cartesian Plane.

Give students exmples, including watching the following video below from Khan Academy:

Once students have an understanding get them to complete questions 1 and 2.  Once finished, they should complete any questions that have been assigned on Manga High.
