Go over what a Linear Graph is. Explain Quadrants, Origin and x and y axes.
Have students play Battleships (using grid paper) to get used to using co-ordinates again. Note that x comes before y (x,y)
Go over the use of rules in relation to the Cartesian Plane and put up an example of how a rule decides where co-ordinates are placed.
