Discuss the cross-section of Prisms.

Go over how to use the area of a cross section and hieght to find the Volume of a Prism.

Have students practice using this first before progressing onto finding the area of the cross section first.

If finished early students can attempt the quiz on Managa High.

Give explainations of how to find the volume of the following:

  • Cubes
  • Rectangular Prisms
  • Triangular Prisms
  • Cylinders

Discuss volume measured in cubed.

Have students do the problems on Khan Academy.
