Concept One - The effects of different technologies

Technology

Technology can act as a mediator between us and the environments we are in. This happens in three ways:

  1. Through the clothes we wear
  2. The equipment that we use
  3. Modifications of and to outdoor environments

Human relationships with outdoor environments have changed dramatically over time, with increased access to, safety in and performance of outdoor activities, we are able to experience a vast range of environments.
