After the end of this class it is expected that you can solve the following equation for the unknown x:

2x + 6 = - 3x + 21

Discuss and explain to students when there are two pronumerals on either side of the equation, one needs to be eliminated on one side.

Put up a couple of examples for students to follow, using their help at the same time. 

Have students complete the questions (completing every second one).
