  • Complete a PA / training diary, monitoring all your PA over the course of 7 days.  Do you meet APASBG's?
  • Wear pedometers and see how many steps you can make within 5 minutes.

  • discuss the advantages and disadvantages and limitations of subjective and objective methods of assessing PA and sedentary behavour.

  • asses PA levels of an individual by using an objective method such as heart rate, pedometer and subjective methods such as recall, observation. Compare results to APASBG.

  • use a valid observaional instrument eg. SOFIT to assdess the amount of time students engage in moderate to vigorous PA during a PE lesson.
