By recognising the different forms of a quadratic, you can employ different methods in order to draw graphs of them.  Here is a website that explains how to do this.

The following link is to a website that start from basics and goes all the way to graphing parabolas given some points on the curve.  There is a quadratic equation explorer on the page in which you can try out different values of coeffiecients and constant in y = ax2 + bx + c form.  There is also a quiz at the end which you might like to try.
