There are a lot of the key terms here that you need to understand for both your design folio and the accompanying theory work for the subject. You can use the internet to help or alternatively you can use the file below to help as well, although this is not really in a very student friendly format.

Plan for the Year

Below is the week by week plan for the year. Read this. Make sure you have an understanding of the key dates and what will be expected of you, especially in the first few weeks.

Textbook Chapter 1

Read through the attachment of the first chapter. Summarise this using the four headings:

  • What is design?
  • Who designs?
  • What designers do?
  • How designers work?

You need to memorise the design process. You should be able to redraw it without having to look at it. Make sure that you memorise this however you best do this
