Investigating surface tension.

 

1. Get a 1c coin and see how many drops of water you can add to it's surface before it spills over.
Record your top result on the whiteboard up the front!

2. Add a tiny drop of detergent to the middle of the coin before starting again. How many drops can you add now?

If time: does hot/cold water affect how many drops are added?
