Research to ensure you understand the terminology of each section of a general narrative structure (introduction to character and setting, conflicts or rising action, climax and resolution)

See Example titled  'sample plot graphs'.

As you read the novel you are to make a list of the major events that occur in each section of the. Keep you list in your OneNote or as a word doc.

Once the list is complete (after you have read the novel) create a graph where you plot the main events, starting with: exposition, rising action, conflict, climax, falling action and resolution.It is important that you list the event, but also provide a small blurb under it to explain the event.
