Germinating seeds at home is a simple activity.  Choose a seed that grows easily across a range of conditions - do some research to find which seed will be best for the climate and conditions at home.  This activity may take a few days to several weeks.

What resources and conditions are required for a mung bean to germinate?

Is there much natural light available in the science rooms?  Explain.

Read the mung bean experiment link below, before coming to class.
