Develop a survey similar to that of Active Australia and Global Physical Activity Questionaire and then survey 5 participants from each of the following groups:

- Children 5 to 12

- Young people 13 to 17

- Adults 18 to 64

Once you have completed the survey you need to collaborate your data in an excel spread sheet and determine if each group meets the recommended Australia Physical Activity and Sedentary Guidelines.  Once this is complete compare your results with the rest of the class.  Are they the same or different?  What resons may there be for varying results between age groups?

Using a model similar to SOFIT develop a direct observation data sheet to use while observing the ESDP during training.  Once you have completed this for three different students you need to answer the following:

1. Rank the student activities from the most to least time spent during the observational period.

2. What was the predominant student activity category.

3. In what context did the students spend most of their time during this particular physical activity period.

4. How could this instrument be used in schoolsettings to assess physical activity.
