DESIGN A SPORT/GAME
Students are to gather in their groups and work on designing their sport/game.
When designing your sport/game
you need to be realistic in the way it can be played. Ultimately it should be
something that we could play at school. You may choose to modify an existing
sport
- Design a name for your sport.
- Describe how to play your sport.
- Your sport must have at least 10 rules. What are they,
describe them?
- Dimensions of the field/court.
- Describe any equipment needed for your sport.
- How many players on a team and what are their roles?
- Scoring System (how do they score/win?)
- What are the main skills in your sport?
- If you chose to modify a sport, explain the purpose of
your changes (eg. To ‘simplify’ it, to emphasize certain skills...)
- Design a promotional poster and campaign of the sport
you have designed
