A frequency Table is one that lists how many times a particular piece of data occurs.
For example, if you were to conduct a survey in class about hair colour you might have data like this:
Hair colour | Number of people |
Brown | 7 |
Black | 9 |
Red | 2 |
In this example, the frequency of brown hair is 7. So frequency tells us HOW MANY.
