Warm Up

=       Paper, scissors, rock

=       Passing in pairs

Roll overs

=       There will be one defender in each third

=       Attackers will come down in groups of three and need to get pass the defender in each third

=       Once the attackers get to the other end the next group goes

=       Key coaching points

-        Making leads and moving into space

-        Creating 2 on 1s

-        Being aware of the defender

Fast Fake

=       Students will be in groups of 5

=       There will be one defender and 4 attackers

=       The passer begins with the ball and needs to fake a pass and then pass to one of the attackers running down

=       That attacker then needs to fake a pass to the next lot of attackers

=       Rotate the defender

Around the outside

=       Students will be in groups of 8 with 5 attackers and 3 defenders

=       The attackers need to pass the ball score points (1 point outside the box and 2 points to player inside the box)

=       Swap attackers and defenders around

Turn ball

=       Students  will be in three different teams

=       To score a goal students need to catch the ball and then pivot and shoot through the cones

=       Three passes need to be made before a goal can be scored

Warm Up

=       Run the gauntlet

=       Passing in fours (rotating square)

=       Bumper cars

=       Here, there, everywhere

Square Defence

=       Students will be in groups of 8 in squares (similar to four square)

=       One team will begin by attacking and get a point for each successful pass

=       If the defenders intercept then they become the attackers

=       Students cannot pass back to the player they received from

Release time

=       There will be a defender in each third (rotate defenders)

=       Players move down the court in groups of 3

=       They need to make 5 passes in each third until they can progress  to the next third

=       Once they get to the last third they can shoot for goal

Netball game

=       Students will be in teams of 8 (one on the bench)

=       Team off will umpire the game and score

=       Students need to try and implement skills learnt in the game

=       Focus on defending and being accountable for their opponent
