An international sport, played by 2 teams of 7 players, based on throwing and catching. The object is to score goals from inside the goal area by throwing a ball into a ring attached to a high post. Each goal is worth one point and the winning team is the one with the most points at the end of play. A game of netball usually consists of four periods of 15 minutes (for adults) or 10 minutes (for juniors). Teams change ends after each period of play.
