Part 1 - Warm Up
'Partner Dribbling'
Description:
In pairs, students follow one another around the playing area, focussing on dribbling the ball and sticking close to their partner.  1 student starts off as leader dribbling around space whilst the other students follows close behind with their ball.  When 'change' is called the roles reverse, the student that was following becomes the leader and vise versa.

Modification:
- Encourage a faster pace.
-  Any student can kick a loose ball away from play.  This encourages players to have good control of their ball and not have it too far in front of them.

Part 2 - Skill Progression/Development
'Dribble Knockout'
Students each have their own ball which they must move around with and keep close to them.   The aim of the activity is for players to try and kick the opposing players ball out of play without comitting any fouls.
Modifications:
Make the playing area smaller and smaller

'Dribble Relay'
Students in teams will try to dribble with the ball in and around cones as quickly as possible.   Next player in the team cannot start till first player is back and possession of the ball has changed over.
Modifications:
- Use single foot (dominant and non dominant feet)
- Must pass back to next player from the other end of the playing area instead of dribble back
- Players must dribble with the ball backwards

'Block Soccer'
Use the link below to understand activity.
Modifications:
- Ball must stay on the ground the entire time
- Have less cones to start with.  If a cone gets knocked over, player on side lines will come in to replace the player in the game

Part 3 - Skill Application/Game
'Numbers Soccer'
Two teams.   Each student on the team has a number, 1-10 (or higher depending on number of students).  Both teams wait on the sidelines ready to play.   If a players number gets called out, they run into the field and play soccer.
