- How many Baseball teams are in the United States of America?  Can you name any of them off the top of your head?
- Is Baseball played in any other countries?

Part 2 - Skill Progression/Development
'Baseball Relays'
Description:
- Make 4-5 equal teams.  Organise a few relay events to help consolidate skills. Examples include:
- Underarm throwing/catching
- Overarm throwing/catching
- Fly Ball (throw ball high into air above the head)/catching
- Ground Ball pick up (roll the ball along the ground)
- On-the-Run catching.  1st person in each team runs out into space and has to try and catch a ball that is thrown high into the air. Runs back to line with the ball, and the next peron in line repeats the process.

Part 3 - Practice Match
- Split the class into 2 teams, play a social match with students rotating through all field positions as well as having a turn at being the referee.
- Practice each call as a referee, once one student has been able to make all calls as a referee they should rotate.
