From the list of topics given by your teacher, which can include the following:
Essay Topic: Even in the most corrupt and controlling society the individual is able to counteract the oppression and remain of moral character.
students choose a question and write three topic sentences for paragraphs to create an argument to resolve the topic.

Under the topic sentence chosen, students are to write three dot points for each sentence.Two should be examples from the novel that support the topic sentence and the other should be a quote to support one of the two points.
The teacher will complete this process first on the board using a separate question to those offered to students.
