What inspired Suzanne Collins- read the first paragraph of the interview with her at the back of the novel.
Make a list of all the different reality TV shows you know. List 3 things that they all have in common.

Ask your parents where people used to get their entertainment from: real life events re-created in feature films or fictional TV dramas? Any other ways?

Record their responses.

Do a similarities and differences Venn Diagram on war battles you’ve seen in a film and challenges on reality TV context.

Look up Ven Diagrams on Google if you're not sure what they are.
