You may be assessed by your peers when you present your areas of investigation of 2 topics.

Last year some students chose Animals in the first world war. The opportunities for exploring your own interests are endless.

Your teacher will provide a simple on the spot assessment of your presentation based on :

1. clear and engaging presentation

2. you understood and researched your topics

You may present in groups but make sure each student has done their fair share of the work please.

Possibly investigate your topic in more detail as part of your home learning program. This will give you the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the topic your are working on.

5. Or select another topic of your choice.

You are to select a key question you are willing to investigate. For instance

‘World War 2 was a time of great inventions which are still used today’.

Or

‘Without women the war effort in World War 2 would not have been possible’

Or

The war was fought on different fronts

Or your own ideas.

You have a choice of how you present your work, e.g. poster, timeline, essay, speech, power point, newspaper report, letter, prezi, etc. You will present this work to one other student or a group of students.
