A graphic story can be made up of any of the following visuals:

your own illustrations

photographs

images from the internet

colour

 

See examples from texts provided.

 

If you do not want to base your story on conquests from history or the gods of the Vikings, discuss your ideas with your teacher and negotiate.

FACT OR FANCY?

 

How did the VIkings navigate the ocean?

Why did they embark on such a perilous journey?

If you choose a voyage as your basic idea for a graphic story, how will you portray the Vikings/

What did they sail in?

Did they use navigation instruments/

What did they wear?

What were some of the problems they encountered in their quest for food and wealth?
