Barbarians or adventurers?
This is a question we will answer as we view films and read material about Vikings in the next learning bite.
p 72 Mention the word Viking to most people and they will imagine hordes of bloodied warriors causing havoc wherever they go and striking fear into innocent villagers. They were fierce warriors.
But this is only part of the story...
TASK 3
REFLECTION :
HOW will our society be viewed in 100 years or more?
WILL we be seen as barbaric, civilised, silly or .....?
Provide your opinion and use examples.
Consider our treatment of people, animals, politics, or anything you consider relevant.
