It has been created by a large organisation, and provides lots of useful and accurate information, images, videos and records. Visit the website via the link below, and browse through its features. While looking through the website, respond to the following questions:

Who created this website?

When was it last updated?

What do you think makes this website a valuable source of information?

Talk to a family member or friend and ask them the following quesions:

What does 'research' mean?

Where can we get information from?

What are some different ways of researching?

What are some tips for good research skills?

2. Mini Research Projects

Choose a topic that you are interested in, and undertake research in class. You can choose ANY topic that you wish!

Find at least three websites with valuable information on your topic.

Write a one-page report in your own words that summarises the information that you have found.

Email your report to your teacher, or be prepared to present it to the class.
