Below is the overall plan for Entry term 4
It is flexible but the following areas/issues need to be covered:
Indigenous History (Ancient), overview of settlement of Australia, the Stolen Generation (film: Rabbit Proof Fence), Land Rights, Constitutional Recognition.
Assessment tasks may include, but are not limited to: song lyric analysis, creative task (newspaper, song, etc), debates (mastery task).

Attached are the instructions for the debate (term 4 Mastery Task). The specifics and topics are open to interpretation, but students will be assessed on ability to use persuasive language, understanding of the topic, depth of research, and presentation skills.
