Activity 1.

Prepare a presentation on he historical event that you have chosen in a form/style of your choice e.g:

  • Power Point
  • film
  • speech
  • any other form with teacher consultation

In this presentation it is advisable that you include primary and secondary source to present  what you have learnt. The presentation needs to be between 3 - 5 minutes not including any video clips you may use.

The presentation needs to focus on ONE specific historical event of the country you are studying and needs to  include the following:

  • date and place of the event
  • a brief description of what happened
  • who was involved?
  • who was impacted by the event
  • has it impacted (if at all) on Australia in any way
  • what was the outcome?
  • how did this event impact the citizens of that country
