Watch the trailer to Sons of Anarchy?

What do you notice about the content?

What examples of breaking the law do you see?

To what extent is the law breaking seem to be done in secret?

Listen to this speech.

(You don't have to listen to all of it if you don't have time.

What are 10 assumptions about everyday life that the speaker challenges?

(Some are about US politics so ignore those if you like. Most are about everyday life)

Once you have made a list go through and rate them according to the following scale in terms of what you believe.

4 Believe a lot

3 Believe a little

2 Disagree a little

1 Disagree a lot

Read about an angry student who is trying to start an anarchy uprising in his/her secondary school in this blog.

What do the people who respond say is the main reason why the student uprising is unlikely to happen?

Think about what anarchy in a school might look like?

On the anarchy scale, TC would for instance be more anarchist than say Doncaster Secondary, who in tern would be more anarchist than Scotch College.

What things about a school make a school more or less anarchist?

In a truly anarchist state would or could a school truly exist? Why? Why not? Discuss this with a friend, preferably one who hates following rules.
