Part 1 - Warm Up
'French Cricket'
Use the link below to understand the activitiy.
- Batters are not allowed to move their feet
- Fielders must throw underarm
Modification:
- Introduce a time limit, students who are still in at the end of time are the winners.  Can either create small groups or have 2 big groups towards the end.

Part 2 - Skill Development:
'Tee Batting Drill'
- In groups of 5-6 people
- Batter hits balls off tees to fielders, (use tees of different heights)
- Fielders throw ball back to wicket keeper (standing behind battter)
- Positions rotate
Modification:
- Have batter face bowled deliveries

Part 3 - Skill Application:
20/20 Match
- Play a 20/20 version of the game where students have limited overs to score as many runs as possible.
- Each student must bat and bowl for an over.  Normal rules apply.
Modifications:
- Reduce overs to number of players in each team.
- Only one batter at a time plays to maximise skill development

'Test Match'
Play a test match where the aim is to be the team to face the most overs.  The fielding team takes it in turns to bowl an over each and get the batting team out as quickly as possible.  Team to face the most overs wins taking the emphasis off making runs as in 20/20 version.
