During last class we covered over the basics of probability. You should had completed chapter 15A to have a good understanding of the basics.

    During class we will discuss over examples of how to estimate using probability.

    The two examples I will put on the board will be:

    • Yasmina School Survey
    • Survey on School Uniforms

    We will discuss how we should be completing random samples to accomodate for the most accurate of estimation answers.  This doesn't just have to be in a survey form for people, it can also be applied to how many trees grow with 100 or more fruit on them in an orchard or how many wickets a bowler incricket can get in a match.

    Of course every time we conduct an estimation on the same situation we will get a different answer so these answers are not accurate. They are just a sample of the possibility.
