Geometry: Cartesian plane translations

Reason For Learning

Being able to describe translations on a Cartesian plane is useful because the grids provide a reference for both vertical and horizontal movement of shapes. This skill is called upon again in studies of both Maths Methods and General Maths in VCE.

Learning Intention

Translations (horizontal and vertical) on a Cartesian plane. include also combined horizontal/vertical translations.
