Reason For Learning
The students will collaboratively devise a piece for performance which reflects their own ideas and concepts. They will be invited to reflect on principles and concepts previously investigated to inform their work. Much of the work for this unit will be prompted by the students, who must strategically determine how they will take the piece they devise through the processes of conceptualization, concretization, rehearsal, and performance, and how their roles will be decided and implemented.
