Reason For Learning

Training of Junior IT Support Rovers for the skills and knowledge required to use web authoring tools to create, modify and test, simple web pages and websites.

Learning Intention

The Intention of this unit is for Junior IT Support Rovers to explore and learn how to create simple websites. Junior Technicians will learn how to identify authoring requirements of a website (based on a client brief), create a hierarchical website folder structure, saving documents into those folders, create webpages with DIV, CSS and HTML Mark-up structures using web authoring tools, add content to webpages, create navigation between web pages and ultimately, uploading content to a Testing Server.
