Volume of Prisms

Reason For Learning

To recognize 3-dimensional prisms (triangular, rectangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, etc.) and cylinders and figure out how much space they occupy.

Learning Intention

To use formulas to find the volume of different prisms and cylinders using the correct unit (cubic millimetres, cubic centimetres, cubic metres). Basically, the volume is found by multiplying the cross sectional area (A) by the height of the prism (H).
