Reason For Learning

Calculating probability is a skill that is required in professions as diverse as engineering, finance and science. Calculating probability enables one to predict future events and hence enables proper decisions to be made.

Learning Intention

In this lesson, students will learn how to calculate probability by taking the ratio of the number of favourable outcomes of an event to the total number of possible outcomes.
