Unit 2 - Stoichiometry, mass to mass calculations

Reason For Learning

Stoichiometry is the term used for calculations based on chemical equations. Stoichiometry predicts the relative amounts of substances involved in chemical reactions. Chemical equations show the relative number of molecules participating in a chemical reaction. They can also show the relative number of moles, the mole ratio, of each substance involved.

Learning Intention

After completing this learning bite you will understand:• quantitatively interpret balanced chemical equations. And also mass–mass stoichiometry, mass–concentration–volume stoichiometry reactions in solutions. You will also be able to : solve mass–mass stoichiometry problems. calculate quantities of reactants and products based on balanced chemical equations
