Unit 2 - AOS 2 - Molarity and measures of solution concentrations

Reason For Learning

The concentration of a solution is a measure of how much solute has been dissolved in acertain volume of solvent. It is often expressed a ratio of the solvent amount unit to volume unit. A number of different units therefore exist.

Learning Intention

At the completion of this learning bite students should know and understand the following measures of solution concentration: ( volume/ volume, mass/ volume, mass/mass)ie mg/L, mg/g, microgram/g.
