Reason For Learning

In order to be successful in General Mathematics next year, it is essential that you enter the class with a key set of skills. This holiday homework will help you build these mathematical skills. In addition, it will allow you to get a head start in the Term 1 work.

Learning Intention

There are many learning intentions in this holiday homework. They can be divided into two categories: key skills and univariate data. Key skills learning intentions include: analysing linear equations, determine mean, median and mode for a set of data and use trigonometry to find the unknown side length of a triangle. Univariate data learning intentions: creating bar charts for categorical data, creating histograms for numerical data, calculating cumulative frequency and drawing ogives.
