Reason For Learning

Powers are used to show repeated multiplication. This is an important concept in Mathematics.

Learning Intention

To understand the following rules and be able to use this knowledge to solve problems. 1. When multiplying two numbers with the same sign, the result is positive. 2. When multiplying tow numbers with different signs, the result is negative. 3. If the base is negative and the power is an even number, the basic numeral will be positive. 4. If the base is negative and the power is an odd number, the basic numeral will the negative.
