Reason For Learning

To learn how to identify some unknown white powders using simple scientific methods such as solubility in water, adding heat, testing with iodine and testing with vinegar.

Learning Intention

This activity explores basic chemistry, including chemical and physical properties of familiar substances. Students will develop hypotheses and test their hypotheses through exploration. Also, students will be making observations and writing a conclusion based on their investigations
