Reason For Learning

It is important to understand how acids and bases work because so many of the products we use, particularly cleaning products, are either acids or bases. The way that these types of substances interact and how they behave when we come into contact with them is very important to know in order to use them safely.

Learning Intention

To learn about the pH scale and pH indicators, and investigate acids and bases using a red cabbage indicator.
